Our Story
PRT‑Training began with a simple belief: fire‑safety training should be taught by people with credible experience facing emergencies. After years of responding to fires across Lincolnshire, Peter saw the same issue time and again — most people didn’t know what to do when a fire broke out. Not because they didn’t care, but because their training hadn’t worked for them.
PRT‑Training was created to change that.
Today, our courses combine real operational firefighting experience with clear, practical instruction that sticks. We focus on giving people confidence, not confusion, through demonstrations, hands‑on extinguisher use and realistic workplace scenarios.

Experienced instructors with operational fire service backgrounds and training expertise
- Peter Tremayne, owner and lead instructor, has over 20 years of instructional experience and a background as an operational firefighter.
- Matthew Perrin, specialist in practical fire safety measures and emergency response training.
- Paul Simpson is an operational firefighter with extensive frontline experience and has been delivering courses since 2023.
- Susan Tremayne, operations and bookings lead, ensures smooth administration and excellent customer service.
Together, we combine frontline knowledge with proven training techniques to deliver clear, relevant learning.

DBS Checked
All our trainers are former or current serving fire officers. They have all been DBS checked and cleared. Certificates available to view on request.

We have Professional Indemnity Insurance of £1,000,000 (one million), Public and Products Liability Insurance of £10,000,000 (ten million), and Employers Liability Insurance of £5,000,000 (five million), underwritten by Hiscox.
