Fire Safety Awareness Course
Our popular 2-hour Fire Safety Awareness Course is for anyone expected to respond to a fire alarm or who may encounter a real fire.
Fully training your staff in the event of a fire is not only a legal requirement but also the best way to protect them and other occupants of the premises.
You will receive the very best training from our friendly instructors who are either operational or ex-serving firefighters.
All our trainers are DBS checked, have current teaching qualifications, and have delivered fire safety courses to local businesses for many years.
Who Is The Course For?
This course is for everyone in the workplace.
If you are an employer, business owner, or in control of premises, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires you to ensure that your employees receive adequate fire safety training.
This means you must train every staff member, including casual staff, and ensure external companies are also trained in Fire Safety Awareness.
Where Can I Attend The Course?
We can run the course at your workplace or arrange it locally.
We deliver fire training courses throughout the East Midlands, although we may be able to accommodate you if you are further afield.
Duration Of Course
Approx. 2 hours
Course Requirements
Theory sessions take place in a meeting room, classroom, training room, or lounge.
The practical session takes place in a suitable outside area (approximately three car parking spaces) away from buildings.
We will bring all appropriate training equipment (including fire extinguishers).
Cost
£350 per course (This is the cost for up to 15 delegates, not per individual) – no VAT to pay.
A 10% discount applies for two courses run back-to-back.
